I am in the process of re doing my room and I'm 15 when I'm probably going to do is hang up lights across my room and if you look on society 6 which is a kind of artsy site there are a lot of poster prints that you can hang up some can be really cute and girly while others are more deep it just depends what you're into also look on ikea, bed bath and beyond, and amazon a lot of my stuff is coming from there, Urban Outfitters also has some really cute wall decor and room stuff that you might like. You're best bet though would be amazon they have stuff that is 2$ and it's crazy cute if you find just a few pillow cases to put on your bed it can change the whole room hope this helped!

You have to lern some new skills to do this , but you can do it easy.

No need for target or walmart.

Google " patterned paint rollers " and read.

Also " sponge rag painting walls "

For just few dollars and your creativity , you can make your room look like a million dollars.

Also , if you learn to ' faux paint " like this . You could start making some very GOOD money !

" Faux painting walls ( google that ) " other peoples walls. There are many people that do this full time for a living. You could make $30 an hour easy ! While other kids are mowing lawns.

And it will be a PERFECT skill / job for a young girl , for many years to come.

You will just need to learn and practice and you new bedroom would be the perfect place to start your new skill / hobby / and new job .!

Also google ' wall murals " yes some of them cost $120 dollars , but you can find some ckeaper ones if you search on line.

If your walls are blue , a wall mural of the ocean or an island on the blue ocean would really be cool..

I am not sure what you consider " spunk " ,

But if you Faux painted your ceiling to look like white puffy clouds .

Then used some " transparent glow in the dark paint " ( google that ) also google " transparent glow in the dark paint examples " to see what it looks like. To paint some stars and moon on the ceiling . So when you turned of you lights and laid in bed , you would look up and see the stars and what ever else your painted with the glow paint glowing . How cool would that be ?

You could also add that trick to your house painting Business.

You can buy all this stuff online and have it shipped to your house , You donr need a target . They dont have glow paint anyway.

And for more spunk. Get some live hanging plants to grow in your room. Ivy plants are easy to grow.

Take off your closet door and replace it with a " bead curtain " google that . Bead curtains are very cool.

Later , have fun
