you should have put down the 20-30 that you had done so that we would know but here are some.
I only wrote a few that I could think of on the spot, the list might be repetitive
obviously shovelling snow, or mud, or sand...
hitting someone (no jokes)
unblocking a car ( you can place the shovel underneath the wheel if the wheel is stuck)
breaking a piece of ice
reaching for something up high
removing snow of a roof
collecting snow
building an igloo
clearing up some space
padelling a boat
spreading gravel on an icy road (although we use machines for that now)
Lifting a spare tire onto lug bolts (if you aren't strong enough to do it yourself)
Digging a footing.
leveling a yard
Uncovering water or sewer lines
Marking, tilling, furrowing, weeding, or irrigating a garden
Removing weeds and shrubs
Planting trees
mixing cement or mortar in a wheelbarrow
getting rid of pests, rattlesnakes...
