If you live in Florida and that is where you are going to leave for 30 days, then use Marko's suggestion.
If you are visiting Florida and you live in a colder climate, then turn off your AC at the thermostat and turn off the circuit breaker supplying the AC.
When you return home, turn on the Circuit Breaker that supplies the AC 24 hours before you try to use the AC.
After a few days there will be close to 100 percent humidity indoors because moisture accumulates, that is, if you live in Florida, so I would leave the ac on 77 or so.
If you don't have any animals and no one else is staying at your house yes I would leave it off and save the money.
