Get a large canvas or piece or wood and paint it whatever color you want, or cover it in a fabric print. Hang it up to add some color.

Hello, so i really wanna paint my walls from white to a light maroon color or atleast something vibrant. The thing is that I can't because our house is rented and I don't think the landlord will let us. Is there any alternative I could do to change my walls color or atleast add more hue to this room.
