All of them are made either in China or Korea anymore so they're pretty much the same. LG is also a very good brand. I won't buy Bosch since they bought out Skill. Skill was an American manufacturer of good, reasonably priced power tools. Bosch turned them into a maker of cheap, worthless, Made in China throwaway tools (since they make no replacement parts for them). I just don't trust Bosch anymore.

I've had trouble with GE dishwashers, but the washers and dryers seem OK. Stay away from LG! I think it means "Lucky Goldstar" but it seems to mean "Last Gasp"

I own about 40 appliances , ranging from different brands such as GE, Whirlpool, and Bosch.

In my 10 year experience with these appliances, I find that GE had the most trouble. I purchased a new GE dishwasher and after 6 months of use, the motor went ( luckily it was under warranty) and a 5 year old GE washing machine and the tub inside cracked. And of course the GE refrig ( 5 years old) still works but the water line keeps freezing on it.

Whirlpool is awesome!! never had a problem...I have 4 whirpool washing and drying machines and there all about 10 years plus...they still work today.

However, I think GE makes the best stoves.

and bosch is bosch.... German made. but very expensive

your thoughts?
