I like both and specially red cherries . If you want to just decorate your backyard with unique planting then white cherry tree is good for people attraction but the taste is not better .

white cherries have a milder taste than the red ones. the best tasting variety for just eating fresh are the black ones.

i want a cherry tree in the backyard, and would love to have a white cherry tree because its rare. however, the problem is that ive never tasted white cherries before! i like red cherries, but there are so many varieties i dont know which to grow. i like kind of firm fruit thats sweet but not too juicy. any suggestions?

my main question is actually asking for opinions on which type of cherry people claim is better tasting: red or white. and based on my preference, what would you recommend? thanks everyone!
