white cherries have a milder taste than the red ones. the best tasting variety for just eating fresh are the black ones.

i want a cherry tree in the backyard, and would love to have a white cherry tree because its rare. however, the problem is that ive never tasted white cherries before! i like red cherries, but there are so many varieties i dont know which to grow. i like kind of firm fruit thats sweet but not too juicy. any suggestions?
