Attention college students!! Under bed storage solution please!?

FYI, elfa drawers are too tall to fit under a bed unless your bed is lofted. The shortest drawer unit is 17.5 in. tall.

What are you planning to store in the drawers? A lot of stores sell under bed drawers- large/deep drawers that fit under your bed. They're good for storing clothing, sheets and towels, etc. They're not exactly "modular" but you can stack them if your bed is high enough.

If you're looking for modular drawers that you can mix and match sizes, have you seen Like-It drawers? They come in different sizes and can be stacked easily. However, they're not very deep; you won't be able to use all the space under your bed.

Again, no matter what kind of drawers you choose, you won't be able to stack them unless you have bed risers or a loft.

Another option would be to get some larger underbed drawers (which would allow you to use all the space under your bed) and use them to store clothes and whatnot. Then get some bins or drawer dividers and use your dresser to store smaller (non-clothing) items.

Hi, I'm not a college student! But hopefully I might be of some use :)

Have a look here at Ikea - they have all sorts of storage solutions for the under the bed - hopefully you might like something? :) Perhaps you haven't seen all of Ikeas selection?

I'm going to be a freshman in college next year and I'm looking into under bed storage. I'm a really neat and organized person. Everything I've looked at so far kinda stinks. I want drawers that are modular and I've seen a few that are advertised as modular, but actually aren't... I really like the Elfa drawers, but they are on the pricey side and I'm only going to splurge on them if I cannot find something better with my best effort. Any suggestions of stores or brands would be helpful. I've already spent a significant amount of time at The Container Store and Ikea (I know Ikea makes a drawer set very similar to the Elfa drawers, but are too tapered) and I don't like tapered drawers. But, again, any brands or places to look would be much appreciated! Thank you (:
