Bed bugs?!?

Bed bugs are very hard to spot. They hide very well. They are called bed bugs because they primarily come onto people to bite when they are sleeping. For this reason it's near impossible to see one, as you would be asleep at the time. The bites are quite irritating, like they are sore and might wake you up. You just don't sleep comfortable in your bed anymore when you have the bugs. They are not really too hard to get rid of though, there are sprays you can use. Good luck.

Bed bugs are hard to get rid of, but there is one solution that really works. Spread copious amounts of boric acid powder and diatomaceous earth (sold under various proprietary names) on top of the mattress and in every crack and seam. Also spread the powders in every crack in the bed frame and in everything like night stands that are close to the bed. You can also safely apply the powders to flat surfaces. Then just leave the powders be. Don't clean them up, or if you do, spread more of them after you're finished cleaning up. This doesn't work overnight, but it starts working right away and your infestation will become less severe with each passing day.

It sound like u have done everything possible & more to eradicate the bed bug infestation. This is really stressful for UR whole family.

The professional service u had out previously should have a program involving many trips to contain & treat. Most companies give a guarantee within 90 days if problem returns they come out again with no cost minimal cost. Or contact companies who follow thru until the issue is gone.. It will take persistence on UR part.

The only real sure way to remove bed bugs is to evacuate the home and it is heated to a temperature to kill bugs, eggs, and larvae. They have three sages to adults. That is probably why signs of them are returning, eggs were left behind.

Good Luck.

Zip up mattress covers on the mattress and box springs will protect them from bed bugs if they return. They lay a lot of eggs.

We discovered after getting a bed from my aunts house about 6 months ago that we had bed bugs. I would say we got them mildly. My daughter, who is 2, slept in our king bed with us. She would wake up with welts. We didn't know what it was and even took her to a dermatologist, who told us it was an allergic reaction to something. It wasn't until I was cleaning and I noticed some brown specks on our headboard which was wooded with a cloth panel. When I pulled the panel back, I saw a few bugs. I immediately freaked and called an exterminator. The exterminator came 4 different times and sprayed our entire house down. I bagged up clothes, washed everything in hot water, pulled the mattress from the wall and inspected the bed daily. For about a month and a half we were clear! No bites. But for the past 4 days, I have noticed more bites on my daughter. I am unsure of they are mosquito or bed bug bites. She does play outside a lot and neither my husband or me have any bites. But i was not going to take any chances. We took the bed out of our house and got a new bed and frame yesterday, we are currently painting the bedroom in hopes that if there are more bugs, this will help. In addition I have sprayed store bought pesticide everywhere and inspected every piece of furniture and pictures in the bedroom. We also have a steam carpet cleaner we are going to use when finished painting. I have seen no live bugs or signs of them. Is there anything else that I can do just in case?!
