You would be better off sticking with a full-sized bed. A queen or larger would crowd your room pretty badly.

My room is 12x15 with a queen bed and it is crowded. Also in the room trlple dresser, chest on chest, 2 night stands and a mirror on a stand.
You could go with a double loft bed, which leaves more room for furniture (desk, bookcase, dresser) at floor level:
