It could also be a form of box elder bug. they can get up to about the size of a nickle and love the smell of lint and warm spaces.
I had accidentally left a load of towels in the washing machine from the other day, so I went to go down and finish washing them. I pulled one to my face after opening the top to see if they smelled musty and needed to be rewashed. As I put the towel down, I saw a big, light brown, bug butt sneak away in a crevice at the top of the dryer. I mean this things butt was the size of a penny. I shut the lid horrified and ran upstairs. Are there any bugs that do this? I had bed bugs previously, and because I live in a rented town house, the landlord called in an exterminator to only clean our apartment space. No one elses. I didn't think bed bugs grew THAT big though? Could it be something else? I live in a city, and I doubt it was a spider, because I could not see long legs. I guess it could have been though, I just really don't think it was.
Any help is appreciated.
