your air conditioner is seperate and located on roof or outside.If this vent is a return your blowing thru a airfilter and back into your apartment.

My apartment has central AC and it has a fan setting that basically just sucks air out of my apartment through like a 4 sq foot vent above the water boiler. Should it be ok to exhale smoke into that or might the smell get into other apartments?
