Can I make a basement it south Texas?

Talk to some builders and contractors. Also contact the county agricultural agent in your area to find out what the ground water and soil problems are. The closer you are to the Gulf the bigger the problem becomes as water table levels are a real problem. Even if it is feasible make sure that French drains and water proofing are done. I'm not a big fan of basements in the area as much of the area is clay soil and it's shifting nature between wet and dry spells can lead to cracks in walls which result in leaks.

hahahhahahahahahahaha the water is about ten feet down. in clay soil. this i why we don't have basements in texas.

I really fantasize about having this game room/gym/smoke out/pad/strip pole with stage/ and other stuff, like a real man cave. Speakers surround sound, big *** flat screen with wifi, neon lighting, punching bag, all kinds of ****, poker table, bar, fridge, leather furniture, and more but cant really say. So does anyone at least who i can ask, the only ppl i think of are like tax collectors but who wants to talk to them, right.
