I have a dulex white matt
If I mix the two will it come out okay?
Yes you can mix two Matt paints. Make sure you mix up enough to do the job as it will be difficult to get it exactly the same again. Remember paint always dries lighter so you may like to test it by adding a little of the darker colour to the light at a time and put a small amount on a wooden lollipop stick where it will dry quite quickly.
You can mix any two paints that have the same base. If they are both water-based or both oil-based, you can mix them. Always add the darker colour to the lighter colour, a little bit at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. When you think you have close to the colour you want, try some on the wall and let it dry before deciding. You can speed up the drying with a hairdryer, but don't hold it too close.
Try mixing very small amounts first. Trial and error is the method.
