I wouldn't recommend it. You didn't say if you want to use it as primer or as paint. Either way, the mixed paint won't perform as well as if you just used the paint or the primer.
I have a lighter red enamel paint and I have also darker (like maroon) Red Oxide metal primer paint. I want to get a darker red color. So that I can still use my primer paint.
