I don't get your objection "always having to fix it". I always use comforters with duvet covers and they don't have to be "fixed". Most of my comforters have loops in the corners that button into the corners of the duvet cover so they never slide around. Even the ones without the loops don't require fussing. It is a lot easier to make the bed with a duvet covered comforter than a regular bedspread in my opinion. Plus it is WAY easier to just take the duvet cover off and wash it with the regular sheets. Washing a whole comforter is a hassle.
Hi you can get duvet donuts that hold the comforter in place within the duvet so you don't have to keep fixing it.
If you own it, use it as you like. Rock on with your bad linens!!
Im looking for a comforter for my dorm room but the one print absolutely love is only available as a duvet. i know i could buy a cheap comforter and put inside but i don't like they work like that always having to fix it. so if i wanted just a light comforter could i just use the duvet or is this a stupid idea?
