As I've done some research, I realized that I want my future home to be a cob house. I love how eco-friendly, cheap and earthy they are. I just graduated high school, and though it might sound early I want to start putting together ideas and get estimates on everything from foundations, to electrical. I do plan on building this house myself, and with the help of others but there is so much I need to learn! If anyone who sees this has actually built a cob house, I would love some advice! Me and my boyfriend are going up the mountains in a few weeks to look at some land. I understand this is a very big goal I'm setting for myself, but I don't want anything else. I know it isn't as easy as the internet makes it seem, and will be a long struggle, but I'm preparing myself for that. So any, and every tip is welcome!
