Use cockroach killer spray and spray it in every corner of the room, most importantly the vents.
Turn on the lights, they hate light.
Thump the floor, the vibrations send them running.
Tell someone to vacuum the room thoroughly because roaches leave egg sacs. When done vacuuming, take the bag outside and burn it.
Send someone to clean you're room for whatever scrap there is on the floor, roaches eat anything.
Seal gaps and cracks with tape or something.
Make a sticky trap. Google it.
Yeah, that's a first step but that's no guarantee they won't find another way into your room. Just leave all lights on and make sure you thoroughly dispose of your left over pizza. Jk.
Cucumber slices are a good deterent. Cockroaches avoid those areas where cucumbers are placed. So place them all around the house if you can. They can't eat cucumbers because it makes their stomachs fill with gas and they explode and die.
So we're in a hotel room and saw a HUGE cockroach. We tried to kill it but it crawled up into a vent. We know that there's never just one cockroach, and we are not sleeping knowing there's a family reunion of 4 inch long roaches in the hotel. What can we do to make sure they don't come back? Are they afraid of light? Sound? Should we leave the tv on or leave the bathroom light on? (The bathroom is where the vent is) should we leave the bathroom light on, close the door, and stuff the bottom crack with towels?! HELP!!!! ????????????
Thanks pals
