It depends on what kind of green it is, for a darker green I would blend with earthy tones like reds and browns to make it a cozy, stable room, this would work well if there are not many windows. If the couch is a brighter green I would try some yellow and light blue to give the room an energetic feel. A light green would be complemented with other pastel and neutral shades to make the room soothing and relaxing.

Green is a neutral color because it goes with almost every single color.

I would take one of your cushions to the store to see what colors you are attracted to that match your furniture. It could be as simple as an awesome set of decorative pillows (Pier One Import, Home Goods, Marshalls, TJ Max), a throw blanket or a set of fabric curtains which define other colors you can use in the room or on the walls.

In colors of today are oranges, turquoise, yellow and purple.

green goes well with most earthy, natural colors. try light browns and light yellows. maybe a little bit of gold like small accents here and there!
