So, I'm picking out some cool stuff for my new room, and I came across this magazine that sold bedding. There was one item that I absolutely LOVED! it was a cool fish design that had Percale sheets, Pillowcases, shams, and a duvet cover. You see, I've been sleeping with a quilt my whole life, and I looked up what a duvet was and it said it was a comforter. I asked my mom about it, and she said that comforters were bulky and hot and didn't "hug" you like a quilt did.
I looked again, but the item didn't have a matching quilt, only a comforter, and I love everything about it, except I don't know if I would like a comforter or not. I want to follow my mom's advice, but I REALLY want to order this bed set, and it doesn't look right without the comforter.
I hate being too hot, so I would rather have something that would let me "breath" although we do have central air, so if it gets too hot I can always turn the temperature down.
So, what do you think guys? Is a comforter really comfortable? Do you like it better than a quilt??? Please answer.
