Compost Fruit Overload! Please HELP!?

wash all of them.

you'll need to peel the peaches & mangoes before pitting & slicing them. the nectarines & plums you can slice & pit--you don't have to peel them but you can. (they have thinner skin & you usually eat the skin so you don't have to peel them if you don't want to)

place the slices on a cookie sheet in the freezer until they are frozen & then put them in freezer bags. make sure you use them up in 3 to 6 months. after about 6 months, they tend to get freezer burn & they lose their taste.

Today, I received boxes of fruit from my local grocery to start a compost pile with my summer school students. I received specifically an abundance of mangos, peaches, plums and nectarines. I plan to salvage what I can of the fruit given to me using the best of the fruit for smoothies and such. The only problem is freezing and storing these fruit. I have plenty of room for storage, but not sure of the proper technique for keeping/ freezing peaches, nectarines and mangoes. I plan to use less than half the fruit within the upcoming week and plan to freeze the rest for future use.

* I had asked specifically for apples, strawberries, bananas being that I have experience with keeping/storing these fruits, but was gladly happy to accept whatever fruit was available!

What is the easiest and most practical technique for freezing mangoes, peaches, nectarines and plums?
