Only answer is to move out.
I have a small layer of clothes at the end of my bed, and one day several years ago, I lifted up an article and saw what I thought to be a dead roach. I only ever recall seeing a roach when I was in my grandparents' house in Florida ~10 years ago, but I live in upstate NY and don't know that I've ever actually seen one in person here. It looked bigger than the beetles we have here.
But I've always been scared after that that I'll lift up more clothes one day and see more. So far, nothing. I've seen things about there being more than one roach if you see one, but where else could they be hiding? Even in the rest of my house, I haven't seen any more. My room is pretty small, and I think I've been through most places in my room, especially when cleaning, without seeing any more.
How likely is it that there actually are roaches in my bedroom? Or in my house?
