I am thinking about going to a Covenant House with my boyfriend. We both have problems at home and have decided we need to go. I have questions, though.
- How about the school we're in? What will happen? Do we go and come back on our own?
- Can we bring clothes from home?
- Are there female / male dormitories?
- Do you get freedom?
- Will they accept my boyfriend and I together? (Not same rooms but in the Covenant House.)
- Will we get accepted automatically?
- What are the schedules like?
- When you feel you're ready, do you ask to leave?
I am 15, for the record. So is my boyfriend.
Answers to hopefully all these questions will be very much appreciated. Kind of urgent.
