These are most definitely spiders. However, because there are so many species around the country, it’s hard to put a name on them. Most spiders found around the house don't pose a significant threat to us. On the contrary, spiders are beneficial bugs that kill and eat insects and pests. We know spiders creep people out, so if you can’t tolerate them, they can be sprayed... or simply use tissue or paper towel to dispose of them in the trash.

This is the 1st year i have seen them and I have lived here for 13yrs. I don't know if this is a harmless insect or should I be concerned.They have the same basic shape but I have seen different colors.
