Tempurpedic was the first to the market and most expensive but there are others that have now entered the marketplace and are highly rated but less expensive. You can also get a mattress topper which costs less.
We've had ours ten years and it shows no signs of deterioration. Its very comfortable.
If you want to try out a memory foam mattress without the investment, you can buy a topper. I would get four inches.

Retailers claim 10 - 20 yr warranties but how can ANYTHING stay the same for that long?
IS there in fact anything valuable about memory foam other than the fact they keep talking about how NASA was involved some way?
