shelving will be your friend. not much room in the dorms & your limited floor & wall space will be used for storage. if you did get more totes for storage then you'll want something low that can fit under your bed
don't buy any more totes as those are more for transport than storage & you won't have much room to have a bunch of those laying around.
you'll want more multifunctional things. like totes that act as drawers. like this:

don't let the price on that thing scare you. there are similar items for sale at Walmart & Target for much cheaper.
you'll also want some sort of over the door storage. it can go over the door of your closet door if you have an actual closet or over the door of your wardrobe which is what you are more likely to have (but don't get it until you know that you have a door that opens rather than slides)
I will be moving off to college in the next two months and I need help with organization. I bought two medium sized storage bins what will be good things to store in them? What else would be essential things that I need as I move to college in the fall for organization?
