I don't know what cannabis you're growing, but they do not and should not be breeding insects. When grown indoors in a clean environment they don't develop pests at all. When grown outdoors or in unclean environments they can attract pests, but those are not good and should be handled accordingly. If your plants have insects on them you should google to find out what they are and how to properly rid the plant of them.
