Plaster sucks up everything unless it is sealed and primed. I don't know if you're going to have to start at square one again with sealer then primer(the paint might have acted as something of a sealer) or if you can get away with a primer/paint in one. Many paints are now primer/paints in one and this might work for you. Yes, you're going to have to repaint. If the folks at your local hardware store are REALLY knowledgeable, you can talk to them. Otherwise, call one of the paint companies that supplies your country and ask their advice (I am assuming by the way you spell 'colour' you are not from the US). I would suggest you get at least an eggshell finish if not a satin as an extra measure. Satin has a muted sheen (as the name implies) but it has the durability and cleanability of a semi-gloss.
Recently moved in to a new property,
Plastered the walls left to fully dry, first coats watered down paint, then the colour we chose.
Looks great! But the problem is, Each time we touch it, it leaves like grease marks (hands are clean lol)
Is there something I need to coat the wall with?
To stop the wall grabbing onto any moisture or whatever it is that's happening :-/ ?!?
