We avoid certain houses at community garage sells because their prices are too high.
Our community-wide garage sale was last weekend. Considering it was a village-wide event, the turnout was pathetic. I remember sales in the past when cars would be lining both sides of the street and my front yard would look like St. Peter's Square on Easter morning and it was not unusual for me to make between $100 and $200. I think this year I had less than 10 cars stopped and I only sold about $15. What could have changed this year?
