The roach is an outside roach and it needs moisture to live and it will not live long inside. They fly short distances. You can hit it with a shoe are something, but you will need something to clean it up with if you hit it hard. Some are called palmetto roaches.



We live in a hot humid area and the things live outside. They do wonder inside. We sprayed around the foundation with spray to keep them from coming in.

It's not a cockroach. It's a beetle. There are many types that can fly. Pick it up with you fingers, carry it outdoors, let it fly away.

I would have loved to watch that. Set out sticky traps along the wall and in corners & cupboards to see how infested your are.
