do all youre research about the position youre duties holidays staff discounts believe in what you sell and why does the customer want to buy from you and not go elsewhere do alll this before you get an interview because it will look good at the interview to know what you are talking about

I've been working at Home Depot as a cashier for a year now. I've just applied to be a flooring associate and I was wondering if anybody had tips about the flooring department. What to expect, pros/cons, advice, anything would be welcome because I've never been a sales associate before
