How can I make a purple bedroom look less girly?

My daugthers room is white and black with pops of purple. So you can us black, grey and white to reduce the purple. I would also use white blinds/window covering. My other suggestions is to paint only one wall the purple and leave the other color if it matches.

Just as someone else mention, you should bring it back to the store and have them add tint tha could lighten it or change it a little bit,

Purple and white look so great together.

Paint your walls with the purple paint and then use all white bedding. You might be able to use some thing else that you like even better.

Add fresh green plants .https://images.search.yahoo.com/search/i...

You can use colors such as dark blue or even green.Gray goes so well with purple too. Jujst add white sheets.http://www.jcpenney.com/comforters-bedsp... Shades like these will look great !http://www.jcpenney.com/clearance/50-75%... Then add some white drapes over the shades:http://www.jcpenney.com/window/curtains-... These in white will add a fresh feel to your room.

This gray and white will look good wit the purple walls :http://www.target.com/p/room-essentials-... http://www.target.com/p/room-365-birds-b...

Keep everything in it's place and don't leave clutter. It sounds like a great room.

Add purples complimentary colors- and or add greenery/plants.

The browns and greens will bring down the girly color of the purple.

Any light- pink ,white or light blue- will make it more girly.

Buy some yellow and go for a Minnesota Vikings theme.

take it back to the store and ask them if they can re-tint the color, to your liking.
