Id say just run with what youve got
use light colours as opposed to dark
soft edges as opposed to hard
be smart in what storage solutions you use
drawers under bed go a long way
Paint it a nice bright color, De-clutter some of your things, i put most of my things in nice looking storage boxes, i hate little things everywhere!!
Get a large mirror, or mirrors.. Sale some of your things that u dont need and that is taking up space.
It helps if you use lighter colors, let outside light into your room and use mirrors on the opposite wall.
