some idea's
1.Black,white,gold and grey for an old school broadway look!
2.gold and red for a modern look!
3.sparkly/glittery stuff
5.posters (u could get them from ebay or maybe a local library may have some if u ask.Not all library's would have movie posters)
6.You could take some pretty gold scrap booking paper (dosent have to be shiny) from micheals and cut it into a large star (templates can be found online),then print out you're name in any font in capital letters from microsoft word in black font but leave the background white,and cut out your name in a rectangle then glue it on the middle of the star so you have you're own broadway star that you could put on you're door to 'mark' your room!You could also make a few with you're friends name and put those in you're room.
7.There are alot of diy projects with this theme that you could try!
8.this is a little expensive (depending on where u live) but you could use some red velvet fabric (you can get it from any craft or more likley fabric stores) for curtains for ur window(s) if u have any windows!Just search up on youtube on how to make curtains
9.Crystal doornob(s) for ur room that can be found at the home depot (i think they have it here in canada only) or any other hardware store or any other place that sells stuff you're room like ikea.
10.you dont have to paint you're room red,gold or both.you could just accent you're room to have a Broadway theme
11.At the dollar store or a toy store they sell these really cute tiny disco balls with ribbons on the end so you could buy a few of them and hang them from the cieling!
12.Red fake flowers would be a really cute touch!You could glue a few on the corner of ur mirror!

14.Frame a picture of you and make you're photo black and white,if u want it in black and white, (very easy,you can do it online with this website called pixlr or anything else.Some photo printing places can make it in black and white for you) and put it in your'e room with the star thing i talked about earlier under neath where u hung you're picture OR print you're name out or draw really nice in capital letters in black and white and put it under the photo!
15.Add pearls and stuff or (fake) crystal decorations!
16.google up some diy's or youtube them.Alot of stuff can be made with this theme!
17.white battery operated christmas lights around the room would look really cute!It may sound crazy,but i have a tumblr room and this looks super cool and cute!
18.Or you can use the colour's purple,blue,black or any other pretty night sky colours for a diffrent broad way theme!The other things i mentioned would work fine with these colours but u might wanna change some of the colours of the other things i mentioned to match (like the red rose lamp.You can make the roses black or silver if u spray paint them or hand paint the roses black or silver).

Painting: If you know any one who can do solid paint work, your bedroom door or closet door can be painted to look like a Playbill. Get small bins of paint for it because it's not the entire room. As far as the walls are concerned, find stencils online of the New York skyline and paint that onto one wall. Another wall can be sheet music - for musical theatre. Maybe do another wall stenciled Hollywood or Hollywoodland and the mountains the letters sit on.
Furniture: I'm sure some consignment shops have dressers or night stands that look like they belonged in a theatre. If you have the space, get a platform for your bed to look like a stage.
It all depends on how much you and your parents are wanting to do... your limit is what is allowed for the room. You like Broadway so much, I'm sure you can find other things to make your room cool.

Posters!!! I am a 13 year old girl who loves... pink! My walls have pink castles, and posters of my fave celebs.
But posters! You could get posters for broadway musicals, and cover the walls! And you could pick a fave musical, ie... WICKED, and do some DIY.
Once I took a tshirt that didn't fit me any more but was relatively big and sewed it on my pillow... I <3 NYC throw pillow.
I am a 13 year old girl and I love everything Broadway and musical theatre. I want a Broadway themed room and I just want to know how to do it. :) Thanks in advance:)
