How do I get a mouse out of my sink?

Well a lot of mice are really drawn to peanut butter. Not so much with cheese. If you place some peanut butter in or near the sink, not too close to the drain... then perhaps it'll come out for it. Have a towel ready and once you see it, carefully throw the towel on top of the mouse and wrap it up. That way you won't kill it.

Another way is maybe wear some gloves and get a small container and then try to help put the mouse into the container to carry it out to a field.

Both techniques require a lot of patience. These ideas sounded the most practical, but if you need more then check the source.

Good luck! I hope it ends up alright!

I store bird seed in a trash can in the basement. One time, a mouse got in there by gnawing a hole in the cover. The seed was low, so the mouse was trapped in the bottom. The cellar is dark, and I had to go down to get seed for the birdfeeder. To say I was rather startled when I reached in is a understatement.....anyway, I just put on a pair of work gloves and grabbed hold of the little rascal. I don't see why the same wouldn't work for you.

You can grab a mouse by the rump of the tail and pick it up without damaging it. It also can't hurt you from that angle. That's how the they picked up untamed mice in the pet shop years ago when I was buying them.

I was making a sandwich and I tossed the knife I used to spread mustard into the sink and noticed that there was a mouse. The mouse is now sitting in the drain looking very scared, I would like to get it out without killing it, any suggestions?
