How do they "harvest" predator urine?

It is collected through the drain systems in floors of zoo's and wild life sanctuaries. Collecting the urine to sell adds to the money available to care for the animals.

Carefully.

I was wondering about the predator urine that comes in bottles for protecting gardens/livestock from animals by mimicking a predator marking their territory (or something like that). How do they "harvest" it?

I can't imagine a single humane way of doing it. All I can figure is that they have these predators in wire bottom cages or a cement bottom enclosure with a drain, but I'm not sure.

I haven't bought it out of fear of what I might be supporting, but again I don't know what happens.
