A desk doesn't have to be costly. You can use an old slab door or piece of old kitchen counter for the worktop surface and use sawhorses (the supports that workmen use for cutting material) or old 2 drawer file cabinets to support the worktop. A small kitchen table also makes a good desk. Look in thrift stores for something.

If you're not too picky about styles, check out your local craigslist/kijiji website. If you live near a college you're bound to find cheap- if not free- desks.

i dont have any desks. and i need one to study. its easier to sit at a desk and study something imo. how much does a desk cost? and where can i get one?
