Impossible to answer without knowing the width of the fabric you intend to use and which way you want any pattern to run. Do yourself a favour for ease of calculation when you do find the fabric and round off your measurements, rounding up. How did you measure 24.567", anyway?

Okay, so I am going about doing nice decorative touches to my room and I saw somewhere someone put fabric on the backside of their bookshelf to add a pop of color. So my question how much fabric would I need to cover 2 inside backings of a bookshelf with the dimensions of
30.75" x 11.5" x 71.25"
and
24.567"L x 11.496"W x 71.181"H
