i would ask myself, " why is this so special to me??...i would probably doze it or burn it down once i had removed what i wanted to salvage. now you have a clean "canvas" to start building. now you know that you have square corners and everything is 16"oc, everything will fit properly such as plywood, sheetrock, windows, doors etc......i have worked on older structures in the past and nothing is level or square....if you start new, it will go much faster and fewer headaches. good luck

I'm going to completely redo my grandmothers house. Floors need replaced, ceilings, roof, walls need completely redone... It needs completely gutted and redone. It's about 600 sq ft and appliances and all need to be replaced. 2 bedroom, 1 bath. Living room, kitchen, and utility/ laundry room with an attic.
