You can easily make a shelf out of a piece of wood and brackets.

You can also go to Target or IKEA and buy an assemble-it-yourself bookcase.

However, if you want a bargain, go to a yard sale and buy a lovely, old, sturdy piece of furniture -- a bookcase, dresser, etc.

You could also look on Craigslist for specific pieces. Or try a thrift store / consignment store.

i want to change my room up a bit but i don't want to go out and buy new furniture and bedding cause i don't have the money at the moment and i don't wish to re-paint my wall either cause i only had them done a few months ago. i want to make my room more practical and mature while maximizing storage and space as it is a small room. so any cute diy decor ideas or storage ideas for little or no money?
