How to fix short curtains?

First try to return them back to the store and measure size and then buy accordingly. If you can't then either lower the rod or add some same or different (As per your choice) colored (satin goes well with all types of clothes) cloth at it's top. Because no body see at the top. The first look goes in front or at bottom.

If you can't take them back, you can lower the curtain rod 6 inches and add a matching or contrasting valence at the top to cover the gap

Not the end of the world. U can lengthen your curtains by adding either top-border or bottom-border, or both, and your curtains will look like as if they're in 1 piece of border print pattern. Pls look @ these photos for more info.

Either lower the curtain rail or exchange them for the right size.

Measure the length and width you require.

Return them

Buy the proper sized curtains

I bought these ready made curtains for my room and they're about a half a foot short. They're plain black with one narrow strip of sequins at the top. Should I extend them? Would a black and white stripe pattern at the bottom loom bad? Or should I just get new curtains?
