They are case bearing moths and they are the color of what they are eating, maybe the carpet or some clothes. The Indian Meal moth comes from the packaged food in the pantry. To take care of them: wash the shelves, paying attention to the corners and edges, with soap and water. The new food and all needs to be put in sealed up containers.
So I've been finding these caccoons on walls http://www.whatsthatbug.com/2004/03/08/cocoon-bugs/ and they keep hatching and moths keep flying everywhere and its becoming a bother to my family and I. Is there any way to permanently get rid of them without the exterminator? I live in south Florida and we have 2 dogs, if that helps.
