To rid an area of spiders, simply mix 4 tablespoons of coconut oil with 8 ounces of white vinegar and put into any spray type bottle and spray wherever you see spider webs or where they might be coming in from. The spiders hate the aroma of coconut and stay away. Obviously, if area is subject to the weather, you must re-apply after each rainfall.
Wal-mart has a 31 ounce container of coconut for less than $10.00.
Coconut oil is usually in a solid form, so you will need to microwave a few seconds to melt it and use up right away or it might plug up your applicator bottle.

The best way to deal with them is to train yourself to respect them. You can do this by telling yourself they eat flies. Flies are nasty & unhealthy & bite you & spread germs. Spiders may not look nice but they're not harmful & nor do they hurt you.
You can TRAIN YOURSELF to have mature reasoned attitude towards them. Yes, they have 8 legs, yes, some of them are big, but is there any serious reason not to like them?
The best way to keep them away is to put a glass over them then slide a piece of card or paper under the glass, then just carry them outside & release the spider there.
I'm 16 and recently moved to the basement 3 days ago. I saw a spider while playing video games yesterday and I have been on edge since I saw it!
I can't sleep comfortably knowing there are spiders here. I remember I used to see 3 in one day sometimes down here.
Since I have to stay here I was wondering if there is a good way to keep them away.
SPIDERS FREAK ME OUT MAN!!!
