I would start off with getting fluffy and luxurious white bedding. Have your curtains be sheer white material. You can get bedding and curtains for really cheap at Ross, Kmart, Walmart, Craigslist, and Annna's Linens
I personally think a small fountain like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/27125608963...

would be a great idea, as nothing is more peaceful and tranquil than the sound of running water.
This is pretty cool too and it's cheap. You could fill one with some smooth rocks and make it blue/green colored. http://www.vat19.com/item/h20-water-cand...
I'd also have a rug made from natural fibers, like bamboo or sisal.
Be sure to have some plants, whether fake purchased cheap from Michael or Walmart, or real ones.
Here are some more ideas as well https://www.google.com/search?q=zen+them...
Bolt the T.V. down to the dresser and nail cheap art to the walls . Also use small little soap bars that don't work with thin white towels and have someone call at 9:00 am and ask if you are staying one more night.Oh and sprinkle curry all over your hallway until you can smell it forever.
Large fluffy towels, satin sheets, USA Today newspaper outside your entrance.
Just don't forget to put chocolate on the pillows and play soft music right outside your door.
You need lots of open-air space to walk around in. The other thing that will help is to layer textures (different types of fabrics, etc.).
I'm doing a room renovation this summer and I'm going for an eco-luxurious theme; sort of a zen hotel room. I have all the furniture (modern and sleek dresser, nightstand and desk all in IKEA's brown/black color). The colors I have in the room right now are white, black, and green. Not a ton of natural light, just one window. Any cheap ideas on how to make this space the perfect Eco-luxurious hotel room? I really don't have a ton of money to spend. Thanks!
FYI, room is for a teenager.
