First take the door off the jamb, just remove the pins. The put the couch on the short end so it stands tall.

I am trying to move a couch through a door thats on top of my stairs. The one problem is to get it to my room. My door is just right to the door at the top of the stairs. So its a really hard angle and need suggestions on how to make it squeeze through.
