Are you saying there is a hollow door that leads into your neighbor's apartment? This is a fire code violation -- contact your landlord to have it replaced or call your local building inspector.
I live in a rented apartment and my bedroom has 2 doors there is one that leads to my.living room and one that is DIRECTLY next to my nieghbors. I can literally hear every single thing that theyre saying as if we are in the same room. Its quite disturbing and i wish i could have some peace and quiete sometimes. Even if i.could put down the noise to a quite muffle i would be content. Please can anyone give me suggestions on.how i can sound proof my door? Can i add maybe a very thick blanket over my door or maye stuff the sides of the door? I really want something inexpensive and i cant tear the door open to install sound proof material. Please help me.i would dearly appreciate that
