The most common way of doing this is to install insulation in the stud wall.
Another way is to put foam, like upholstery foam, on the walls.
But it's going to be a lot easier for you to control yourself, and it's a method of growing, like grow up!
What you're doing is extremely immature and disrespectful for your roommate's sleep schedule,
and sanity. I know because my roommate fall semester was like you. But at least you are looking
to do something about it. Here's a suggestion: Plug-in headphones so only you hear the sounds!
Get headphones.
Or you can get soundproofing that can be hung on the wall, or across the door. Not ideal, but you can do it. Even simple sheets of foam could work.
Im constantly up late at night playing video games and i can get loud. This causes me to wake up my roommate across the hall. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to make it so he wouldnt be able to hear me. Thanks.
