20-21C is a more reasonable temperature at which most people feel comfortable. Mine is usually set between 16-18C but that's because I'm on an economy drive. I just put a warmer jumper on.
His circulation is poor. Most are happy with 21C. That's the design temperature for central heating in the UK.
My preference is about 18 degrees C. My wife prefers 21C. 30C sounds like a sauna and must cost a fortune.
Ours is about 16/22 - depending on whether it's a hot day or not. we don't use the heating at all. (unless it's winter and really cold)
room temperature of 32 is fine
for a comfortable room 21 is good ..thats the tempureture bmw advise for their air con .....
So the story is this, my partner and I have this situation, he likes the house temperature to be 28/30 C, which I think it's excessively hot so I have to go around opening windows to be able to breath. In the car is the same, he has the heating on 32C and my window down as usual.
It drives me crazy specially considering that he refuses to wear jumpers because he is very big and they never fit him well. ( that's true ).
He keeps telling me, after years together, that is normal in uk homes to have the heating so high, I don't buy it. I did some research online and found that the average temperature is 16/20C.
Can you please tell me at what temperature do you usually have your home so I can proof to him that 30C is not normal?
Thank you
