Clean the floors with a product like Murphys wood oil cleaner (for floors). using other stuff on it can make it slippery and unsafe.

To keep the dust & dirt off, its best to use a microfiber dust mop like this one:

That has hardwood floors ive never lived anywhere that has them before so my question is how do I maintain them I swept and mopped after I moved in yet my feet and my children's feet still get dirty kn the bottom is this normal for hardwood floors we dont wear shoes in the house we take them off before we come inside can anyone give me tips or ideas? What kind of product is good to use on them.
