You can get them framed and hang them on your room wall. Make a space for them where it looks great and whenever you or someone cross it ..you can always see and remember your old days and cherish them. It will bring happiness and may be in such long time to get to know that you haven't talked to a friend for so long and may be you called them and get reconnected, building a strong bond forever.
Add a black and white effect to colored effect as the years passed on. Make the recent photos colored and old one black and white and different shades of grey. You can also mention the years in which pictures are taken and categorize your wall and hang pictures according to it. Just like its a journey of you and your closed ones.
Hope it works! but don't forget to save all pictures in a separate DVD. You may need those pictures for long so store them as well.
