I am a bit timid about the aspect of architecture on the structural side. I don't want to be a structural engineer, and where I've taken art classes all my life I am wondering if I would be better suited for interior design where I would be able to connect with colors and materials. I like the concept of architecture and interior design where you design spaces in order to encourage a certain feeling or behavior and I really enjoy looking at architecture and the design process behind it...but how do I know which is the right path for me?
I just finished my first year of Architecture school and I did really well. I read some people get their Bachelors in Interior Design and then go and get their Masters in Architecture. Is this a good idea? Or would I be better off sticking with my current Architecture major?
Thanks
